Join the United for Justice with Peace Coalition and the Center for Teen Empowermentfor an uplifting evening of creative resistance, featuring live music and performances spanning generations and genres including gospel-soul, hardcore folk, hip-hop, rock, spoken word, beat box dance, New Orleans street band music and much more – all presented as a creative protest to the disastrous Iraq war!

"Start the Music, Stop the War" will bring together young and old, city and suburb, to say that the war must end now – and to speak this truth through music and song, poetry and dance. We hope that the diversity of our performers and artistic genres will make this a unique and memorable event that will inspire all participants to connect with each other and continue working toward the kind of country and world that gives us hope.

Help us kick-off this exciting event with a *Peace Parade* through Arlington Center, led by the Second Line Social Aid and Pleasure Society Brass Band! Meet up at 6:00 PM at Arlington Town Hall in Arlington Center (accessible by MBTA bus #77 from Harvard Square). The Peace Parade will begin at 6:30, culminating at the Regent Theatre, where the concert and cultural program will begin at 7:00 PM.
